Review from the day after our wedding7/24. We always get Wasabi for special occasions, so of course we got it for dinner the day after our wedding. Worst experience and food imaginable. We called in an order, got quoted an hour which is long but fine.Showed up after an hour and have it take over 30 more minutes with orders coming in and going out in front of ours. We had totrack down three different people because all service staff would deliberately ignore my husband waiting there. There was onlyone server that gave a single care that we waited and apologized and checked in with us, she had darker hair and tight braidsand deserves recognition, unfortunately we weren’t able to catch her name...
Absolutely amazing! I’m not sure what other people are talking about in these negative reviews. Their menu is pricey but well worth it for the food and service we received! We had the Snow Leopard and Hot Blonde sushi rolls and the Seafood Yakisoba. The Snow Leopard was buttery and full flavored while the Hot Blonde was crisp and refreshing. For a starter we got the Shumai, a double spicy pork dumpling. All of it was so good I’m convinced it’s 100% homemade. We also think they might make their own wasabi, which definitely has a kick but is so delicious! I had immensely enjoyed this restaurant for 15+ years. The service, food, and prices used to all be well beyond expectation. I have vastly traveled and always said my local sushi restaurant was still my favorite. Alas, the era has ended for this place. I wouldn't recommend anyone visit here now. The last three times I have eaten here they were out of tuna. Additionally, they no longer offer the care and service they once did. Our most recent visit we were offered brown cucumber salad and then told by the server that it's because they are using different cucumbers now which are brown. The prices here are outrageous. $24 for 8 pieces of sushi. These LA prices in Montana arnt going to make the business survive. Good service and good food will which we didn't have much of either. Sad to leave this review but I have to be honest here. We also tried to do takeout and the lady said they didn't have the staff to do that..... ? So we were forced to dine in. We entered the place on a Sunday at 7pm, and only two tables were full, the rest of the restaurant was empty and said they'll seat us at 745, I don't see any logic in this but I ignored that and asked them to take our take out order, coincidentally their take out cut off was at 7pm. The hostess was nasty and did not seem to want to work. Stay away!!!
Food was quite good, but took an extremely long time to arrive. It's my understanding they are short staffed, but over an hour for 2 small dishes is pushing it and they still forgot the soup. Portions are small, which is typical for sushi, so I don't hold it negatively. Just a heads up.
Sushi was just ok. Also ordered my daughter some corn dogs from the kids menu and they baked them way too long to the point the breading was not edible. 12 bucks for burned corn dogs is absurd given they didn’t even take them off my bill. Would not eat here again.
I know this is whitefish but the rolls are ridiculously overpriced- one roll was $26 for rubbery shrimp. The amount of food you get for the price puts a sour taste in your mouth.

The best sushi in Whitefish!!! So delicious- in a great location!! Def stop in if you’re in the area’nn Vegetarian options: Great veggie rolls- one had spicy avocado!! Yum ?
