I visited this restaurant for lunch and had an amazing experience! We went on a Wednesday around noon, and there was no wait at all, though I've heard it can get quite busy on weekends. Our waitress, Meredith, was incredibly friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. While it is on the pricier side, it was definitely worth it. We ordered for eight people, and everything was served promptly—within about half an hour. They also have great vegetarian options! I tried the house-made veggie burger, and it was fantastic (check out the photos of the veggie burger and chicken sandwich). Plus, the atmosphere and view are wonderful since the restaurant is right by the water!
The dining experience was remarkable, with dishes that looked stunning. However, the service was a bit inconsistent. We had a fantastic meal, but it's important to make it clear that you want your appetizer first. Another crucial tip: make sure to inform them when to wait for your main course. Everything arrived at once (except for my wife's dish), so I sent my meal back to see how it would look on the outdoor kitchen shelf. When it finally returned, I requested a new one. Our drinks took quite a while to arrive, but my wife enjoyed her summer sunset cocktail, while I liked the Mai Tai (not pictured).
Despite serving multiple tables, Lucy's attentive service made it seem like we were her only focus. Some may find the prices a bit high for a shore area restaurant, but we felt it was absolutely worth it given the stunning view, superb service, and excellent quality of food and drinks. That was not a good experience. The front of the house service was not on the speed from the beginning. We arrived at the opening and the hosts were not helpful or engaged to help us find the right table in a sea of empty tables. Food quality very good. A proposal for servers. Ask for allergies. Our favorite restaurants in Stone Harbor at The Reed's! Amazing staff, fresh delicious food, great tasting drinks, very pleasing atmosphere! The dock hands are very friendly accommodating. They are always there to assist with docking of your vessel. Be sure to tip them as well! A must go to if you're in Stone Harbor. Try the rib eye steak sandwich! Like yum! P.S. Amazing sunset to be seen as well!
The staff was super friendly and helpful. Dinner was so good that next time I would like to get exactly the same! Lima bean succotash and buttermilk potatoes...WOW! (oh and with scallops!
Went here for friends birthday for dinner. Limited menu selection high priced. Only had crab nachoes flatbread pizzas. Some ppl in family couldn't eat from menu. Food ordered was ok.
