Like many, we had to stay in QLD for our wedding anniversary so we headed to Cairns for a day holiday. What a great place and it was all topped off by a wonderful anniversary dinner at Waterbar and Grill. Everything we ate...was amazing. The wine list had great variety and the Sticky Date pudding was the best I have ever had. The service and atmosphere was incredible too, overall a wonderful experience There are a lot of great places to eat in Cairns and we really enjoyed our stay but there is no doubt Waterbar and Grill is easily the best restaurant in town and made our anniversary a special one.
Was very excited to dine in at the waterbar grill steakhouse. Was recommended by several others. Had a VERY average experience!! ribs were fantastic but as far as the steak goes… terrible Ordered their best steak on the menu asked for medium rare whilst...others on the table asked for medium. My steak was served more cooked than the medium rare steaks.. spent on a meal but the best thing on the plate was the garlic mash. Steak was as chewy as bubblegum For a place that says they are a steakhouse it’s pretty upsetting that the best thing I ate were ribs and garlic mash
Waterbar and Grill is a family favourite. Every meal we have had at the Waterbar has been A+ when we feel like a delicious steak it's the only place to go. Mouthwatering steaks in whatever size you can handle cooked absolutely to perfection. What you...ask for you shall receive. The garlic mash is outstanding, mushroom gravy is better than the best. Ribs are always cooked perfectly and moist and tender. Highly recommend. We walk out with happy stomachs and big smiles. Thank you! Family friendly but also great for datenight. For once I didn't take a photo of the food
Beutiful setting on the Cairns waterfront. I was there at dusk and the view was spectacular. Food waa great. I had the Tbone and it was perfectly cooked with a good helping of sides. Some decent craft beers on tap too. The service was exceptional....All of the staff i dealt with were great. would go again.

Atmosphere is electric! It was busy and everyone were enjoying their time in the restaurant. Excellent service, Staff were friendly and very accomodating with no fuss. We were looked after very well and so as the other customers and the food... just delish!
Steaks and ribs were amazing so where the kids steak meals. Staff were engaging and friendly and I found that refreshing. Drinks were a little slow to arrive and beer was a bit warm but they were busy.
Reasonably priced meals, excellent service and delicious food. We sat outside overlooking the waterfront and it was exceptional. We will be back
Great food and service, wonderful ribs perfectly cooked with an amazing sauce. Excellent fries. Wonderful views

Consistently the best steak and ribs in Cairns. Always cooked to perfection and a beautiful Waterfront outlook.
It wasn't exceptionally busy but the main course took an awful amount of time to arrive. Food was good though
