Avoid if in a group. Initially really good and very accomadating. 5 stars. Food, when it arrived, fantastic. Service was appalling. Nobody gave 2 sh*ts if we were happy, sad, had everything we needed etc. We were a group of 12 people, happy to drink the bar dry if needed. Soured by not bringing out one of the meals until over an hour after everyone else had received theirs. Repeatedly asked where it was, only to be told it was 10 mins away . Initially happy with a free pint and 25% off for the first delay, but this happened 4 times until the food arrived (with no additional compensation, had to fight to get the meal knocked off . I 'd have been much happier with a yeah sorry we screwed it up...
In an experience similar to others on here we waited nearly half an hour to get the meal we ordered from the fairly grumpy lady behind the bar. When it came my wife 's gammon was good, but my order was for a Spicy five bean chilli , guess what, there were not even five beans in it! (This is irony if anyone does not get it!)Plenty of chopped tomato, lentils, and other indeterminate vegetable matter but very few of the beans. The taco had been under the heat lamps too long and I would have been better off trying to chew a pizza box. Other tables near us had as long a wait. No one from the staff came back to ask if all was ok, maybe they are getting used to being advised about the poor quality...
Wow! What a fabulous place. Beautiful location for walkers, cyclists, drivers, dog lovers.......anyone. Room was immaculate and very comfortable. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Sadly we didn't have an evening meal or beers due to our family arrangements. But, breakfast was plentiful and delicious. To top it all, we bought some of the beers (brewed on site )to take away and try at home. We did a lovely little walk after breakfast in the nearby countryside which was worth doing as it's a beautiful part of the world.
We had a fabulous evening at this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and the cleanliness of the place was outstanding. We would definitely return in the future. The rooms, service, and location all received perfect ratings of 5. Some highlights of the hotel include its luxury and romantic atmosphere.
I stopped in for a bite to eat because it was listed as dog-friendly. I was not disappointed at all. My dog was warmly welcomed, and we felt right at home. They even provided treats and attention for my pup. The food and drinks were excellent, and I highly recommend this place! Service: 5 Location: 5

I have called this hospitable to the chance. what a pleasant surprise. service was excellent, eating was very fast served and was served hot. the prices are very good. I would recommend the steak and the Ale Pie. there is a good choice. biere from the pre site brauerei
