I love this restaurant but I am extremely disappointed that they are getting rid of single-use plastic bags. I use them for dog waste and to help control the odor in my trash can from meat containers. I often forget to bring my reusable bags because I never know when I will be stopping by the store. While some may plan ahead, there are many times I just need to make a quick stop for something...and charging for paper bags? That's just too much.
They almost always have everything that we're looking for. Lately we've been doing pickup at the store and it's super easy! The only downside is the upcharge on each item. Picking up is such a breeze that I don't know if we'll go back to regular in store shopping. When you arrive the associates are out in less than 5 minutes with your order. They load it up and you're on your way. Always super friendly and no issues.
I recently had a concerning experience at a restaurant. I discovered some strange vegetation in a bag of Wegmans arugula. I informed the restaurant staff and even their salesman was unable to identify it. They simply said that as long as it is green and leafy, it has passed quality control. It left me feeling a bit cautious about the food served there.
I want to give a big thank you to Courtney from the catering department. She assisted me in organizing a surprise delivery for my partner's birthday today, despite us being far apart! Warning: I discovered some unknown vegetation in a bag of Wegmans Arugula. I sent them photos, but even their supplier couldn't identify it. Their response was that it's green and leafy, so it passed quality control. Be cautious when purchasing from this restaurant.
Great food, great service, great specialty items, great selection. Such a great destination to grab a bite to eat and then food shop. You can't go wrong with anything you choose here! Cashiers are always friendly and helpful.
Definitely go to Wegmans for great selection. I got ground lamb, ground beef, feta cheese, and goat cheese to make some Greek burgers (already had olive salad to chop up). the family loved them!!
