Weingut Trossen - Tisch reservieren

We enjoyed the food and, very importantly, the wine here so much in 2013 that we returned in 2014, also staying in one of the comfortable rooms above the restaurant. We enjoyed that so much that we have just done the same and can't wait to visit again! The food is relatively simple but expertly cooked and flavoured. Delicious flammkuchen, rosti with smoked salmon, port steaks, sausages etc, good salads. And superb wines! The views from the terrace are lovely, overlooking the Mosel and the twin towns. The service is professional and very warm and friendly. A super family business.

I stayed here while on a bicycle trip along the Mosel. We had a climb to get to the hotel/restaurant but it was worth it. They produce their own high quality wines and both the dry Riesling and their Cabernet were at hit with my group. Donna took care us and kept us in stitches in spite of the language difficulty. I had the steak which turned out to be pork and it was very good. Some at our table had the fish and also raved about the flavor. Nice folks, very nice atmosphere and a wonderful view of the village.

Ich war schon ein paar Mal hier und es hat mir immer gut gefallen. Einfache, aber leckere Speisen und ausgezeichnete Weine. Im Sommer ist der Außenbereich wunderschön mit atemberaubender Aussicht.

We stayed here, had dinner one night and drink another. Good view, but a hike on the hills, and there are good places in the city.

Good view, food, wine and service. We were here with kids and friends. Lunch was good and especially service by owners.
