My husband and I were here for the first time. We went to lunch at 12:30 and we loved this place absolutely! We sat outside on the terrace and it was such a cool room. I ordered a burger with juicy mushrooms and onions, and by far the best burgers I had in the fort! They use fresh beef of feather. My husband got a panini with turkey, bacon and green apples, and it was so delicious! I ate half of it, lol drinks were cold, our server was great, and the food was top notch! I highly recommend this place! We can't wait to go back and try more!
I rented the Tiger Room at Welch's for a corporate event. When other venues wouldn't return my phone calls, Christine at Welch's contacted me right away after filling out the online form. She made planning this party easy, and the food and drinks were wonderful. The magician we hired for the evening also had nothing but kind things to say about how helpful the staff was in setting up sound and lights for him. We had the best time and I would recommend working with Welch's for a private party or just having a nice meal in their bar.
Didn't get a chance to eat here, was pretty busy and the menu is burgers, wings and other fried things. The staff was good, but definitely under staffed, everyone was really busy. Had the house old fashioned, just a lot of Makers Mark in a glass with some ice, simple syrup, and cherry/orange peel. This is why I gave 3 stars. Would I go back, yes, but not to drink, next time to eat.
Very cool older bar with good food. Has built its own burger, which had good taste and was juicy. Recommended medium rare for pink center. The house boiled chips were a little simple. You have a super carved bar. Apparently they have a neat outdoor terrace when the weather is nice.
