The most disappointing Wendy's I've been to. They keep the doors locked, claiming they lack enough staff to serve customers. In reality, they do have employees; they just seem unwilling to clean the tables. It appears they only want to focus on drive-thru customers. I observed them selectively choosing which customers to serve. They wouldn't let patrons sitting outside at the picnic tables come back in for refills, napkins, spoons, or to use the restroom. Locals have mentioned that this has been an ongoing issue.
The young brown caramel-coloured man taking the orders in the drive thru window provided exceptionally great service. I believe he deserves either a promotion or a raise. He made me an incredibly well-crafted Triple Baconator Combo?, and for some reason headded pecan sauce to it. Although, I'm not complaining, it was quite exquisite. He also seemed to have included his specialsauce on it. Overall, incredible service, I would definitely recommend this Wendy's over the dozens of other Wendy's I havevisited.
The food was prepared quickly, our order was accurate, and everything was served hot. However, while dining on the patio, we were taken aback to find the doors locked and unable to enter. It seemed they were understaffed with only six employees working, resulting in the dining room being closed. There were no signs or explanations for this situation, and several customers were turned away—definitely not a great way to manage a business.
I have a feeling our food was prepared long before I arrived at the drive-thru. The sandwiches were flattened and not warm, and the fries were limp—almost like they were made a day ago.
