We are the parents of the groom whose wedding reception for 104 guests was held on a glorious sunny Saturday in March. It was a magnificent occasion. The customer service was of the highest standard with Wedding events manager Gabby and head waitress Jenny responding to any request made graciously and efficiently. The remaining customer service staff were equally competent and helpful. The reception, held at 6pm was a wedding buffet and beverage package, with a good choice of dishes for both meat eaters, gluten free and vegetarians. This place is situated right on the sand near st Kilda foreshore. It's a very beachy set up for all sorts of people family/kids, couples or groups of friends etc. Food is reasonable but the set up in how you order food and drinks is shocking. Even the time taken for the food to be delivered to the table. I believe since this place opened it has never been run well. If it was setup/managed better this place would be amazing. Leaving the whole service part out, this place is awesome. Worth a try just for the views.
The WBBP is very relaxed and busy. If you want a nice table outside, you should book. There are rooms for parties and weddings at the rear of the Pavilion. There is a wide variety of all day breakfast choices and yummy lunch dishes and salads. Simply served and tasty. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor area. You can eat on the beach itself under the umbrellas. Alcohol is served, but cannot be taken on the beach.

We like to go here because of it's location - great spot actually on the beach. The food is ok but they love to charge extras for credit card, for Sundays, for holidays.We probably would not go there if it was not on the beach, but the atmosphere is good and they have music sometimes.The staff are ok but for whatever reason seem to keep changing, and therefore sometimes your order comes late.
When paying almost $10 for a 500ml beer it is not too much to expect it to be cold.It was a hot day but the glasses were not anywhere near a fridge most probably strait out of a dishwasher, this is basic stuff. Wheely bins overflowing and smelly out the front didnt help the ambience
They do cocktail jugs in summer, the meals are always hot and fresh, good produce, good milkshakes, good coffee. I'd go back but mainly because it's close to my house. I'd suggest a bit of decorating and it lacks a little atmosphere
Meals nice,but slow coming. Rest of service and staff very good. Beautiful day to look out or sit on beach . PARKING BIGGEST FRUSTRATION,SOME COIN ONLY MACHINES NOT WORKING.

Lovely spot for breakfast on the beach. Food was only average and was a bit on the cold side. Has umbrellas and deck chairs if you want to linger.
Lovely place to have lunch great menu and friendly staff will be back with my dogs to sit on the deck and have lunch
