West Coast Sourdough Yuba City

We ordered takeout and were very pleased with the service, which was excellent. The food was delicious, with everything being fresh, especially the sourdough bread that was both fresh and delightful. The Greek salad in the photo, along with our drinks, were not part of the indoor dining. Inside, there were nice chairs, but I noticed a few other customers opting for the tall tables with sturdy stools. There was also a lovely outdoor seating area available. All the staff were wearing masks, and we chose to wear ours as well, even though we are both vaccinated. I called to address the issue, but the manager wasn’t available, so I spoke to someone else in charge. Instead of resolving my concern, he just read back the order that the girl had inputted, making me feel like the mistake was my fault. It seemed like he didn’t care about fixing the problem. At that point, I didn’t want to drive all the way back just for a better sandwich. While I was there, I noticed another couple who had ordered before me had to ask about their food because three later orders, including mine, had already been served. It’s unfortunate because I used to really enjoy their sandwiches, but I don’t think I’ll be returning.

I placed an online order and ended up waiting 15 minutes past the time they said it would be ready. I opted for curbside service, but had to go inside to retrieve my order, which they hadn't even started preparing. I ordered a French dip, but to my surprise, it came with cranberries on it. When I called to address the issue, they insisted that I had requested it that way. I can't imagine anyone would choose to add cranberries to a hot French dip. The staff was rude, and I won't be returning. As a county employee, I don't earn much, and this was a truly disappointing experience.

We visited this restaurant and were greeted with such friendliness. I had a turkey sandwich that was incredibly fresh and delicious, especially since I love sourdough bread. I can confidently say that this is the best spot in Yuba City for a tasty sandwich!
