What a little gem in Pittenweem, sadly we only discovered this at the end of our holiday. Don’t be fooled by what looks like a little local bar, we were warmly welcomed through the bar to another room with the atmosphere of an intimate French Bistro restaurant, tastefully decorated and lit by candlelight. A menu with something for everyone and produce from the locality, everything was cooked very well and it was delicious, the home made treacle soda bread and focaccia was superb, the steak frites cooked to perfection and let’s not mention the sticky toffee pudding, we succumbed and were not disappointed.
