I had a very upsetting experience today that I’m still upset about hours later. The man at the register (likely the owner) ran over to yell at me (yes, really he yelled) because I used the wrong milk for my coffee. I told him I was sorry and he berated me and said I have to pay for the milk but then he says ‘next time it happens’ I’d have to pay for it and he kept saying I should have asked him permission. I told him I made a mistake so I would pay for the milk (which I did) but he was so mad. It was a weird reaction and it was an upsetting experience as I felt like a child being berated.To my defense, there was a small cooler next to the coffee station that had just one gallon of whole milk...
West Lane Deli is a charming, well-loved establishment brimming with character and a lively atmosphere. The owner, John, is an incredibly friendly man who knows all his regular customers by name and engages in countless interesting conversations with them each day, retaining little details about their lives. The two chefs are hardworking and dedicated, consistently providing high-quality food and excellent service. Although their English is limited, they remember many of their regular patrons and their favorite dishes. Most importantly, the food is not only delicious but also affordable. Occasionally, John shows his appreciation to regulars by offering discounts or complimentary small items....
I had the chance to try the pizza from this restaurant for the first time at a birthday party, and I was thoroughly impressed. The menu is diverse, and the pizzas are absolutely delicious, so I've been recommending it to my friends frequently. Absolutely fantastic! There’s a great selection of lunch options available. The owner, Johnny, is incredibly friendly and knows his regular customers by name. The food is always fresh and made to order. I’ve never had to wait long, if at all. Make sure to bring cash, as there’s an ATM on site, but it’s best to avoid the extra fees.

I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. I ordered two plates of hot food and two drinks, and it cost me $37, which felt overpriced. Additionally, I noticed that the staff preparing sandwiches weren't wearing gloves, which I found quite unappetizing.
I really enjoy their large portions, the staff is very friendly, and the prices are excellent. The restaurant has a charming, old-fashioned vibe that adds to the overall experience. It feels like uncovering a hidden gem from the past.

This place makes an amazing sandwich! The staff is always welcoming and I can't remember the last time I had to wait.
