West Side Perk - Tisch resevieren

Met here with a friend to catch up after he suggested it! What a fun little hidden gem in Bloomington! The vibes is cozy and relaxed. There are different seat options whether you want to sit in a booth, comfy chair or regular table. There is also a drive thru if you are on the go! They do have free Wi-Fi here, you just need to ask up front for the password. The staff was friendly and they brought our drinks out to us in our chairs, so we didn't have to stand around. I got some cold brew via the drive-thru and it was awful. Really bad. I dumped it out. Most bad cold brew I 've encountered tastes sour or bitter. The stuff at West Side Perk is different. It tastes cheap somehow. Foul might be another word I 'd use to describe it.Maybe it 's the coffee itself that 's bad? Are they using a mix or a concentrate or something? Maybe it 's the way it 's prepared? Maybe the simple syrup they added is cheap junk? I 'm really not sure.I am sure I 've encountered iced coffee that tastes precisely like this before though. Several times. It 's always been from unsophisticated, cost conscious, mom pop type establishments. Places that buy from big food service companies...

I visit this café nearly every day when I'm in town, even though it's a bit out of my way to work—it's just that good! They offer fantastic gluten-free options, and they can prepare meals that are safe for those with Celiac disease. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere of the café is like a cozy cabin. Last winter, I stopped by during a snowstorm and settled into a comfortable armchair by the fireplace with a hot cocoa—it was pure bliss. Good, cozy feel. Employees are super warm and seem to enjoy the job. I often get a maple latte but will be switching my order, because they use the same maple syrup in it that I have at home- not that it’s not a good coffee. Appreciate that they have showed support for my community by being involved in the fairly new Bloomington Pride celebrations.Sometimes the fireplace does not work, but I can’t fault the shop there. i absolutely love coming here! the coffee and baked goods are delicious. my favorite part has to be the drive through, it makes it extremely convenient to get good coffee on the go. i would recommended the chai or maple lattes!

I love this coffee shop! Their may flower iced tea with grapefruit foam is one of the tastiest iced teas I’ve ever had. The service here is wonderful too. It’s worth the 20 minute drive from my home. Highly recommended!

Local coffee shop, nice to get away from the chain experience! Quality coffee (had True Stone Coffee this morning), places to sit, drive thru available if your in a hurry.

I just tried their special drink, Mayflowers, and it was phenomenal! The yogurt parfait was fantastic as well!
