I believe this is probably a good spot for after work appys and drinks. However, my wife and I had a date night and it was average at best. We started with cocktails. They have a good cocktail list and the cocktails were well made. We also started with the calamari, which was pretty good. This is why I think it's probably good for after work drinks. My wife ordered the burger. The beef was tasty, but was a bit chewy and not ground very fine. I'm not sure what was on the burger, or if it wasn't left to rest, but the bun was soggy and falling apart from the first bite. I had the lamb which was nicely cooked. I've usually had a pretty good time at this restaurant before, but my most recent visit was a bit of a letdown. It wasn't too crowded, but we had a hard time catching the waiters' attention during our meal. Most disappointment aspect was the Wagyu burger I ordered. I asked for it medium rare, but it ended up overcooked. And to top it off, the first bite was super salty—I couldn't even eat 1/4 of it. Normally, I'd let the staff know about it, but given that I was in the middle of a business meeting, I didn't want to bring up the issue and disrupt the conversation.
This is our go to restaurant for before a concert! The food is so good, highly recommend the buffalo cauliflower and prawn appetizer... the brussel sprouts are also amazing. Percy walking distance to Rogers arena. Great service and ambiance.
Service is extremely slow. Drinks ordered upon arrival but then took 22 minutes to get drinks and only after flagging the manager did they take our orders.
Had an amazing birthday dinner here, one of the best steaks I have ever had. Food was so good and the famous cookies are delicious!
