I have a severe food allergy (Alpha Gal Syndrome). I cannot fully express how impressed I am with the staff’s willingness and ability to meet my specific needs. The person taking the order listened carefully to my needs and treated me with kindness and respect. The chef asked me detailed questions to ensure that my dietary needs were being met. In addition, he bought the food out himself to make sure there was no cross contamination. The broiled mahi mahi and deviled egg potato salad was absolutely delicious. I highly suggest this restaurant. Dietary restrictions: They were very supportive of my dietary restrictions. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu was available. Great family place!
Such awesome food! We had the bacon wrapped shrimp with honey glaze and it was so delicious! We also had blackened mahi mahi which was amazing. The grits were some of the best we’ve ever had! Huge portions and made fresh to order. A family member has a severe food allergy and they were so accommodating. They prepared everything safe for her and even brought hers out separately with plastic silverware to ensure everything was uncontaminated. I wish I’d taken a picture but we ate the food too fast! Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for allergies!
One of the biggest issues with this place is that the line moves so slow. If you go in and see a long line, you should consider leaving unless you want to be standing for the next 30 minutes. They should come up with a way to streamline the process. Maybe making the drink station self-serve would help.The atmosphere is okay. It seems like tables and small booths are crammed in awkward places. Not the most inviting places to sit. Some of the tables and booths are well-placed.The food is great. No complaints there.
Edit: Stopped again on my way back home! Got the same entrée plate with all Wharf cake and garlic green beans in place of collards. The beans were beautiful but flavorless, I'll stick with the greens next time. Can't wait to come back.Hostesses were very knowledgeable and friendly. We had our corporate meeting of about 20 people. The staff did absolutely amazing with making sure everything was organized. I myself have a ton of food allergies, the staff went above and beyond so I could have something to eat. Everyone said their food was great! Phillip and the rest of the crew delivered fast service, made sure we had refills, and gave the best customer service. Definitely would recommend. Service: Dine in
These were the BEST loaded green tomatoes that I have ever tasted! (With a side of loaded Gouda Grits). The food was fresh and hot. The GM (Brianna) answered all of my questions and was very helpful! I will definitely be returning to try out other menu options!
