Not bad. The location is excellent, right at the edge of Borough Market. I visited for an appointment in the mezzanine area on the upper floor, and the pub was busy, back to pre-COVID levels. They were out of my favorite beer, but the helpful staff suggested a very good alternative. The restrooms were clean, which is always a plus. It's quite pricey, but at the same time, it's just slightly above average for the area, especially if you're looking to enjoy a pint outside, assuming you can find a spot.
This is a decent restaurant to check out. They offer a nice variety of beers, and we enjoyed pizzas that were prepared just a few feet away from our table. The staff were friendly and attentive, perhaps a bit overly so, as they informed us about our food's wait time multiple times—around four, to be exact. The establishment was clean, and I would definitely consider returning.
argyle on tour! only beaten wimbledon and we are on the city....in borough market. this animated pub found....big atmosphere, no claws or nuts, so my friend went to the way to another pub and brought her back! my first camden ale and it was great. a few stayed and moved on to the bao restaurant.
Great pub with really good staff. We all know Young's are a bit on the pricey side but with service that goes the extra mile , great choice of fresh well kept beer and super efficient ordering from the app it's well worth it.
good alcohol in the borough market. So the usual London prices are not shocked at £6.50 for a peroni. I can expect a lot to do as it fills up on Wednesday 11.45. good selection of ales and cry. terrible atmosphere.
Chilled beer, hot fries, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. It's an excellent spot to enjoy a pint while exploring Borough Market!
