has heard a lot about this place of workmates and has tried it last night for the birthday of my partner. I can't blame it anyway! as a native it was nice to talk to the owner and get her ethos on food and how it is sold. the essence of the good honest local food is preserved here in this beautiful environment so well. the personal is amazing and forms such a critical part of what makes this place sooo special! we loved it so much that we made two more bookings and cannot wait to come back! so refreshing to have a wonderful culinary experience at a very reasonable price!
no idea what this is about. ate their at two places (the hope that it would be better) and it was disappointing to say the least. lobster over boiled the first time, with forgetful combitous wine. Limited drinks options. the second time was the half of the menu...no lobster or crab. personal all over the room. as a result I have canceled my last booking. genuinely don't get why it is rated. nothing special, so many better opportunities in falmouth.
Used on-line booking system and Face Book messenger to communicate with the restaurant regarding booking a table. Member of staff who replied to my message was extremely polite but very unhelpful. This restaurant is busy and always booked up in advance, so do not expect...to be accommodated no matter what your special circumstances are.
Third time here, never been disappointed, food always first class as is the service. Was slightly worried when told we were being seated in a boat' rather than the restaurant. No need to worry, was really cool, sitting in an upturned half boat...nice personal space...and cosy with an outdoor heater....think will request this next time!

we had our amazing dezember meal before we close not to february that we have booked well inadvance to mai the sad news is that we hear that it will end in the mai closing, which will be a great loss as it is the best fish restaurant in falmouth town bur, we wish tina all workers the best for their future
This was our second visit to The Wheel House and we've booked our next one already! The staff are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and polite. The food is absolutely exquisite. We had the scallops, prawns and mussels which were divine! Can't wait for our next visit
had a perfect evening. the atmosphere and the eating were absolutely elevated. the staff was so friendly and helpful and the food was delicious. great way to spend my birthday. would recommend this beautiful restaurant to everyone.
The most delicious seafood I have probably ever had. Nice going with a group to taste all the delicacies! Such a fun atmosphere! Can't wait to go back!
