The food was decent but didn't leave a strong impression. Similarly, the service was satisfactory but lacked the warmth that would elevate the experience. The atmosphere was also just okay; it felt rather ordinary without any standout features. Overall, it was a decent meal, but there’s definitely room for improvement in all areas.
I've visited this pub multiple times and even tried Sunday lunch at other places, but nothing compares to the Sunday roast at The White Bear. The portions are generous, the meat is perfectly tender, making it the best Sunday lunch in the area. It's great value for money and feels like a home-cooked meal—definitely a steal for the price. The staff is incredibly friendly as well. I couldn't recommend this place more!

Disappointed with the whole evening the burgers were dry when your paying £23 pounds you do expect it to be decent. The pub was also freezing.
