Saw the high ratings so I thought I'd give them a try instead of stopping at Rainbow. It was an average donut experience. Selection Sunday morning at 10 was just okay. They had crullers so I was happy about that. A lot of places don't these days. Rather short on devil's food donuts. Apple fritters were a nice size. Quality of the donuts were good. Service was also very good. They had some trouble with their credit card machine so I need to make sure I wasn't charged multiple times. Overall, I'd say it was about a 3 1/2 star experience if I could do that. I probably would give them 4 if they had more of a selection. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, but the customer service was severely lacking. It seems they do not prioritize the needs of their patrons. I was shocked to discover that my egg and cheese croissant was cooked in pork oil. While some may not mind, as a Muslim American, it was distressing to bite into a pork-fried egg and cheese sandwich. Additionally, during the ordering process, I was never asked how I would like my meal or offered any additional items. When I did request more items, the attendant appeared irritated. Clearly, communication is a significant issue, and I hope they take steps to improve it to foster a better relationship with both current and potential customers.
Where do I begin? Let's start with the variety of donuts. They offer a great selection, and I noticed there are even more choices available in the morning. Now, perhaps the most crucial aspect of a donut is its taste. From the richness of the filling to the sweetness of the glaze, it all comes down to flavor. A donut should be delightful at any time of day, and the price should remain consistent. Unfortunately, my experience today fell short. The chocolate glaze was disappointing, and the donut was overly greasy when warmed up. Lastly, it's important to remember: whatever you do in life, do it well, or don't do it at all!
I love pastries and coffee from there, and always prefer to buy my coffee there instead of 7-Eleven trying to help local businesses especially after lockout due to covid-19 unfortunately yesterday morning when I got the to get my coffee and bread the lady I think she is the owner or manager didn't change gloves after serving costumers and handling money, she touched screen of register, handling money and gave change to previous costumers and without change gloves she grab my bread and put it on a bag for me,that was disgusting, I didn't complain I just paid and leave but I didn't eat my bread. the donuts are very good, but every time I go, I will calculate different prices for the same exact dozen donuts and croissant. I complained about it in the pastness and the responsible dame apologised, but the other dame that complained is so rude! This donut shop is so comfortable because it is so close to the work, but I decided today is the last day I buy from white cup donut.
This is the only donut shop near Gardena, Vermont. I remember when there used to be donut shops on every corner, just like liquor stores—it's so funny and a bit frustrating!
Great customer service. They have a special dozen donuts after 2pm. Mango smoothie was good!
Always friendly, always fresh. GREAT breakfast croissants. Their cronuts rule.
