The food was quite good but some items were hit or miss. Mushroom soup, outstanding. Caesar salad? Needs more anchovy. Meatloaf was good, twice stuffed potato needs more salt, pepper, garlic, and some bolder cheeses. The fried pickles in spear form are just not as good as the coin form. The ratio of pickle to breading doesnt work. The pulled pork macncheese was phenomenal. Our server was very polished and polite, but crazy slow. We were there for just about 2 hours (5pm dinner on a wednesday after christmas but we spent 45 minutes of that just waiting... waiting for our drinks, waiting for the check, waiting for a weirdly long time (10-15 minutes? in between appetizers being eaten and cleare...

I recently dined at this lovely establishment for dinner, and I must say it was a delightful experience. As for my 5-year-old, we ordered buttered pasta. The pasta itself was fine, but it was priced at $12. Seriously, on what planet is that worth $12? I understand that running a restaurant comes with expenses and the need to pay staff, but really, I wouldn’t expect to pay more than $6 for buttered pasta. We also tried the Beet Salad, which came with a peculiar dressing and somewhat mushy beets that clearly weren’t fresh. The mushroom soup was good, though. Overall, it was an expensive and disappointing visit. I suspect the kitchen staff during the week is quite different from the weekends when the food typically tends to be better. Lovely atmosphere however we waited 15 mins for a drink that never came and made me late for an important appt. The waitress seemed uninterested in making it right and made excuses about her lack of service. We’ve been several times before but won’t be back the pricing doesn’t reflect the service, which is sub par at best. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Fancy takes on standard brunch fare, which some folks enjoy; I 'm a 'plainer ' guy. Attentive service, kid-comfortable, plenty of mall parking.
