we called here as a large family without reservation. the personal could not be more helpful and immediately put us on a table and order our drinks. our party varied in the age of months to years. we offered a high chair and on request we received a somewhat higher chair for my older mother. the menu was amazing for pub food and it was difficult to choose from the mouthwater options! children are well maintained and can also choose a smaller part of each adult meal. when eating arrived, it tasted every bit as wonderful as described and was hot and beautifully presented. the owners, chloe and ian were very hospitable and told us about their refurbishment plans in juni to include a large child...
I attended a Monday night quiz at this restaurant. The atmosphere in the pub was nice, but unfortunately the quiz dragged on for 3 hours. It started a bit late at 8:00pm and didn't finish until after 11:00pm. There was no music during the music round, which was disappointing. Overall, it was an okay night but it became dull and uninteresting after the second hour. The host continued the quiz until last orders, and the sound system only had one speaker that wasn't facing our table. It was a bit slow-paced for a quiz called SPEEDQUIZZING. The pub was good and the beer was reasonably priced, but the quiz itself was not worth it. I would give the service and atmosphere a rating of 4.
Land lady was rude as soon as i spoke to her, seemed like she was mad that she had to actually get up rather than sitting and doing nothing in this otherwise baren pub. Tried to buy a snack but yet again was met with a rude response that id have to buy a drink aswell. £3.40 for a coke? Absolutely having a laugh. Wouldnt have paid that anyway but after being treated like a criminal just for wanting a bag of nuts i immediately turned around. Horrible experience wont be returning
Absolutely horrid, i walked in the place was drab and no one was there, i asked for a water and the woman may aswell of spat at me, my mate asked for a pack of nuts and she tried to force us to buy a pint to pay with card, using the toilet was the highlight of this pub, left immediately, wouldn't go here if you paid me

last week they have taken care of a funeral, and they were brilliant! pieces to make rules, but managed to get a good dispatch for my father and very well appreciated, friendly, beautiful service, a joy to be there, also to such a difficult time. all guests were delighted by buffet, personal and service.
This restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was impeccable. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making for a lovely dining experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic meal.
The staff are not friendly, service was horrible, can only assume the woman behind the bar hates her job, she puts the spit in hoSPITatlity, acted like i was a muppet for walking through the door, seems content to run the business into the ground.
Went in and got treated like a mug right off the bat, woman behind the bar greeted me with her bitter atitude and when i asked to buy something she said she wont let me buy it with card unless i got a drink. Almost 4 quid for a coke what a joke
