I went at 3.15 today July17, 2022 to dine in for a late lunch in Sun-wood Square in Port Coquitlam. After waiting for half an hour I got a burned burger and a small soup. The beef in burger only had the middle part not burned and it was a very tinny burger. It was very disrespectful to me that the cook didn’t care about what he was serving to his customer. I returned it back after two bites and they made another one. The waiter and the manager both apologized for that. I should mention that some pieces of tomatoes inside the soap tasted wired, but I was so hungry to ate that anyway. I was yesterday in another branch of white spot in Somewhere in North Vancouvet with my daughter and her kids...
I worked at this Sunwood Square location in the late 1980s and have always had a soft spot for the restaurant. My family and I had our dinner there tonight and were treated to the usual good food. But what made this visit extra special was the great service we received from our server, Madison. She was very friendly and checked in on us throughout our meal she also went out of her way to make our visit special after finding out we were out of towners. As well, the managers, Jordan and another Manager (sorry didn’t get his name) also stopped by and asked to let them know if we needed anything. Overall, fantastic service and great meal! Pastas are bland, but the bread is good. Wish it had more cheese and less bland. Sometimes soda pops taste strange. This would normally call for 2 or 3 star but the service is usually exceptional. Staff is accommodating, friendly, and very clearly, honestly, and politely communicate wait times. They also have mobile order so if you park in the specific spots and call they will bring your food to your car so very convenient. I will say there was this oen girl who have been very lazy and not doing that. She insisted I come inside the store. The sign says to call for food to be delivered, I expect that to happen. I visit less now but I hope to visit more if things improve
Server Diana had an attitude the entire time I was there, she ruined what was supposed to be a nice day out with my mother. We were there a few weeks ago and the food was good but her service was simply awful. I was going to ask to speak to a manager, but didn’t want to ruin an otherwise good day. I will continue to eat at White Spot with my family, but never this location again because Diana was so dismissive and did not care about her job in the slightest. We've been to this restaurant before but never for breakfast. The day we visited contrary to my everyday routine didn't have breakfast. I ordered from brunch menu which had eggs, chicken, hash brown, toast and jam. My wife ordered Nat's beef dip. My plate was delicious and too much to be able to finish it by myself. My wife's food was ok but nothing to brag about. The service was good, the lady serving us was fast and attentive.
I love the White Spot at any location. The Port Coquitlam restaurant I went to had a drive-in plus regular seating. I used the drive-in. Food was terrific and the drive-in offers a unique experience. I recommend it .
Always love this location, the ambiance is nice AND allows your kid to be kinda loud without getting stared at. Men's bathroom sink is haunted though and stays on for either 2 min or hates you. Strangely charming.
Always enjoy our meals at this iconic BC restaurant. The menu consists of burgers, pasta dishes, seafood and steaks, salads .. something for all tastes.. the car hop service is available here too..Bon Appétit Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
White spot is an absolute classic. We always opt for the drive up option, feels so nostalgic and fun to do that! They have great service, you can even get all you can eat fries from your car
