Whit's Frozen Custard Of Avondale

This place was so yummy! You pick a base flavor (vanilla, chocolate or the flavor of the day) and can add toppings right on top or to be blended in. The flavor of the day when I went was Red Velvet Cake and it was so good! The custard is so creamy and there were cream cheese chunks and bits of cake. I already can't wait to go back! They also sell pints and quarts of other flavors.

So delicious we visited almost everyday while staying in Jacksonville. Flavor of the day is always fun but make sure you check the calendar online. Just remember that they only have chocolate, vanilla, and one other flavor. Mix-ins are perfect to make your own Whitser and I loved the Whitties (ice cream and cookie sandwiches)

It?s so delicious, but they are very skimpy with mix ins. The other day, both my husband and I had only two cookie dough pieces in our entire cups of ?cookie monster?. It seems to be this way everytime we come.

Bought a birthday cake for my son and we all loved it!! Worth the money. Reminds me of the old Carvel ice cream stores with the ice cream smell once you get inside!!!
