absolutely love this place, we eat here a lot and never had anything that was different than excellent. alex is an excellent cook that reflects the balance perfectly between home cooked love and some really creative combinations and tastes that reflect seasonality and local products. debbie, gary and the front of the house team are wonderful host friendly and friendly, and again reach the perfect balance of attention and professionalism. so happy to have this little jewel just a stone's throw from home, many thanks that they continue to take care of us so well xx
we visited whittakers bar restaurant for Saturday afternoon lunch with a few friends and the whole experience there was excellent from beginning to end. a varied selection of decent layers and craft beers at the bar and also a good wine list. the staff was very attentive and the selection of dips were varied and all sound beautiful. the food we all ordered was absolutely stunning. we want to pull this year after long bennington and whittakers will be our regular place to eat.
last Saturday we had a big family meeting for lunch and everyone was thrilled by the well presented, delicious food. we ordered in advance so that the courts arrived immediately. the service was friendly, but discreet, exactly what they want. my nephew was in advance to get a vegetarian / vegan dish, but again that was no problem. we could not harm the place, the food or the personal. or the weather! the exterior is very welcoming. wow, what a beautiful jewel we found during traveling to family, not only were we greeted with smiles from all employees, but nothing was too much, and eating well, I would begin to let them just tell us if they want to eat school-dinner style not going here it is perfect from presentation to delicious taste, we will definitely recommend going back to a nice garden even though we do not eat outside.
Consistently amazing food. We have eaten here numerous times and the high standard of both the service and the food is second to none..hard pushed to find another restaurant of this quality elsewhere locally, this is London restaurant quality..
very warm welcome and friendly staff could not do enough for them. cocktails tasty and eating was excellent. atmosphere great . definitely be back soon.
