We had fish and chips from this chippy tonight. Fish, regular fries and curry sauce. There was a young man cooking and a young lady serving. The fish took me back to Harry Ramsdons Chippy in Scarborough. It was the best fish and chips we have had in years. My husband brought it home after a 10 minute drive and everything was perfect. The fish was exceptional, the batter was beautifully crispy and the chips were fluffy and delicious. I have never written a review for food before so the food from here must have been exceptional for me to do so! Who ever you were cooking this tonight, you need to stay in the business because you are a very good cook!,!
Extremely rude from the point of answering the phone to the food. Below average food and even lower customer service. If you can’t speak English properly or have any kind of manners then maybe hire someone who can actually speak English rather than shouting at them down the phone. Just remember you need us customers more than we need you. Because there’s thousands of different outlets that we can choose from yet you can pick your customers in order to survive.
If I could rate this zero I would and this is purely based on the rude woman that answers the phone. I called to place an order, woman abruptly says ‘too far’ and hangs up. The food could be totally fantastic but I will never order from here and I will tell everyone I know to boycott it. Good customer service goes a long way these days. Lots of complaints about the woman on google too.
Food was perfect! Chicken and Prawn balls were delicious. Singapore Chow Mein was absolutely amazing and the Peri Peri chips are fantastic. Also, the egg fried rice and sauce was to die for. I would not go anywhere else, really kind and friendly service and the food was delivered so quickly. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!!! I 100% recommend. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
A really arrogant female member of staff works here behind the counter. I asked to speak to the manager/owner, sadly he does not fully understand what you are saying to him. When my order was ready she threw the bag across the counter at me.
Lovely food but I wish they wouldn’t use MSG as it’s unsafe and can make me feel very shaky. They could cook without it but unfortunately they choose not to. I would have scored higher if they didn’t use it but sadly they do.
This has become our new go-to venue for a cheeky fish and chips lazy day they have the full range of standard fare PLUS you can get a kebab made with a made to order naan instead of a pitta bread
We ordered fish and chips, a cheeseburger, and curry sauce. Everything was served piping hot and delicious. The portions were also quite generous. We will definitely be coming back soon. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
The nan bread with salad, tikka tandoori, in my opinion is one of the best things about Wigston. It is absolutely amazing, and brilliant value, one definitely feeds 2. Thank you
