Happy tourist! Our group of 6 booked a glacier tour and didn’t leave much time between arriving in Whittier and boarding our boat. Even though food was available on the cruise I was craving substance and the Wild Catch Cafe did not disappoint. The service was quick and friendly and the food was hot and delicious. I enjoyed a cup of reindeer chili (tastes like beef chili but it’s leaner higher in protein). I shared a salmon burger and fries with a friend (highly recommend). And I tasted my girl friend’s fried halibut. I’m not trying to be dramatic when I say it was life changing! I’m from Oklahoma and I’ve never experienced this fresh of fish. Good atmosphere, very good coffee and hot chocolate for a fair price, even lower than expected considering it is a tourist spot. I loved it, cool environment. Not as themed as competitors but has good prices. I'll be back to try lunch
The best fish and chips we had during our 2 week adventure through Alaska! Service is a bit slow...they cook to order...so be patient. The portions are generous and tasty. Not greasy at all. So glad we stumbled across this gem.
