For a top notch dining experience: Arrive at 5:00pm for no waiting. Sit at a table. Order your beverages. Get the Tidbits Appetizer to share. Order any dish (I like the Panang Shrimp, the Pad Thai or the Royal Chicken; my wife loves the Crab fried Rice, Chicken Satay and Drunken Noodles). Snarf it all up (or, as much as you can we almost always have take home leftovers). Pay the bill and go home with a very satisfied tummy. The food is delectable, the service is excellent, the atmosphere is peaceful, the decor is acceptable (the sculpted wall art behind the bar is breathtaking). One of the best local Thai restaurants for aficionados! True to the traditional style, it’s understandable why they have lasted so long. They actually use fresh chiles (thank goodness while most just use more/less crushed chile oil; which makes everything taste the same. I’ve been dining at this location since the 70’s when it was a Denny’s (or similar . Both traditional Thai seating (better for young folks and western seating. Note, it’s close to as hot and spicy as in Thailand (thankfully! but they can make it wimpy if that’s what you like. Love the desserts!Parking: Not a problem!Kid-friendliness: If your kids are well behaved!
