I purchased large shrimp for $18 per pound, but the size did not meet the expectations for a "large" designation. However, my main concern was that the shrimp needed to be fresh. I confirmed with the owner, who stated that the shrimp are processed and frozen immediately. Unfortunately, I found that the quality of the shrimp was far inferior to that of the grocery store shrimp, which are available for less than half the price. I would not recommend this place to my friends.
I picked up Shrimp for Christmas Eve dinner. Everything in the display looked bad. Picked up frozen devained and peeled. Once it thawed it smelled terrible. Even soaking in milk didn't help. Tossed it in the garbage. Thankfully, Publix saved the day. On a good note, everyone behind the counter was very friendly.
Make sure to verify the prices at the register. After we left, we noticed that both fish we bought were charged at a higher rate than what was displayed in the case, with one costing over $5 more per pound than advertised. I hope this was just a mistake.

If you want to get sick from the food you eat then go here. Sold us spoiled shrimp and will never return to this place. Smell your food before you buy it from this place.
