i ordered the wet burrito with vegan steak. it wasnt wet at all lol, theres was so sauce or anything on top. it came with a small container of salsa, but nothing like the picture. ive ordered this same thing before and it was perfect so i dont know what happened.. the vegan steak is actually a great steak substitute. the rice is really good but i dont think theres enough to be worth $5. (i also asked for no onions in my burrito and it had onions, but i was kinda expecting that. so if you hate onions maybe try something else.
OMG! One of the best restaurants I have ever visited! The quality and creativity in the food is like something you would get at a 5 star restaurant. My favorite was dishes were Chile Relleno, sopes, chilaquiles and the walnut dessert. Service was super friendly and responsive, and prices are very reasonable. Their menu caters to all kinds of diets and their vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options are amazing! Highly highly recommend, do yourself a favor and eat here! Don’t miss this place!!
ordered: vegan sopes the sopis were great, filled, the beans were my favorite part and so I was very glad to have them as a side. with the chopped cabbage, the vegan meat, the beans, the sauces and the vegan acid looked and there were many good textures in every bite. we had planned to eat there because they had nice tables in and out, but we wanted to sit outside and there was construction so we took the food to go. the staff was friendly and friendly.
This restaurant is great for parties of meat eaters and non meat eaters. The vegan options are all delicious and good sized servings and the staff is very helpful always. It is a small business so we love to support :

reliable vegan foods, the authentic Mexican recipes with a twist. I agree with others that it could be more spiced, but I would not consider it to be con, because they can simply add sauces
They always have a ton more vegan options than appears on their online menu. Really nice staff, tasty food, good prices. Maybe the best vegan brunch in the Sac area.
Unfortunately, the food did not have much flavor. The Spanish rice tastes like white rice, and the salsa is almost tasteless.
