We decided to try this place as we were on a short road trip. We were greeted promptly and sat in a booth. It as not very busy and a waitress was with us immediately. My wife has tiger shrimp and pasta and it was...very good. I wanted their roast beef dip sandwich with fries but asked the waitress for no aioli sauce and she said it was no problem. Hi there! I went into Wildcraft with a friend of mine this week. I was blown away by our server named Ava. My friend and I both come from a restaurant background actually working in the Charcoal Group of restaurants as well and Ava showed...every single step of service that is what the charcoal group cares the most about! She was timely, efficient, did her two bites check, introduced herself and was very present for the entire dining experience. This is about one of my favourite restaurants. I have the menu practically memorized. My two favourite dishes are the tempura shrimp and the tuna poke. This time, they were a disaster. The tempura batter was NOT edible. It was thick, hard as a rock...and overcooked. They tasted of stale oil. The poke rice cake was like eating boot leather, with no crispyness, just stale and old and dry. My friend ordered the filet steak he always orders. The spice rub on it made it inedible. The restaurant offers a comprehensive vegan menu. Our server, Sydney, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, while her manager, Jen, was outstanding. Gluten-free options are available, although most items may not be suitable for those with Celiac disease. They truly deserve a 5-star rating, but the app only allows for that designation for restaurants that are 100% vegan.
Excellent service and food. They have a terrific menu for GF friends and the service was great. We dined the day after COVID lockdown was lifted on February and the staff and kitchen was up-to-speed and did not miss a beat. Would highly...recommend this palce.
The food and service were fantastic. Love that they have such a sizeable plant based menu. They were also super organized with new covid rules since it was the first day of the vaccine passport.
