Nicht meine Art von Ort. Die Bar / Taverne hatte an einem Tag, an dem niemand in der Nähe war, kreischende, laute Kunden. Wirklich ein Degustationsmenü, Teeny Teller, Teeny Portionen, schlechtes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Kellnerin erzählte mir, dass die grünen Paprikaschoten in meiner Muschelsuppe mild waren - sie waren es nicht und mussten mit brennendem Mund ausspucken. Wirklich peinlich, als ich behandelt wurde. Sie gaben mir stattdessen Spargel. Ihr einziges Gemüse. Sie bemerkten nicht, dass mein Wasserglas leer war und ich musste es anfordern. Rückenlose Bänke zum Sitzen in der Taverne / Bar, aber Sie können einen unbequemen Stuhl anfordern. Kein Ort, an dem Sie wie ich viel gesun...
Der Geschmack des Essens war zwischen ok und gut, nichts Besonderes. Ich hatte höhere Erwartungen, nachdem ich Bewertungen gesehen hatte. Ich bestellte ein Nudelgericht mit Wurst. Ich schätze, dass Pasta, Sauce und Wurst hausgemacht sind, aber ich war enttäuscht, als das Gericht mit 3 kleinen Bissen Wurst ankam. Ich bestellte einen Cocktail, der schwach und meistens mit Eis in der Form eines Saftglases ankam. Als die Kellnerin bemerkte, dass ich es in ein paar Schlucken trank, bat ich um einen anderen, aber ohne Eis. Was ich bekam, war ein 8 Unzen Glas Milch mit einem Schuss Kahlua darin. Keine Möglichkeit zu beeindrucken. Ich wollte nur ein gutes Getränk.
WildFin American Grill at Point Ruston is a culinary gem! The scallops were absolutely divine, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. I also tried their Superfood House Salad with Grilled Salmon, and it was a delight – fresh, healthy, and simply delicious. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. The servers are not only attentive but also incredibly helpful and friendly. They made our dining experience even more enjoyable. I can't recommend WildFin enough for an outstanding dining experience. We'll definitely be back for more of those incredible scallops and the warm hospitality. 4 Platten geteilt. Jakobsmuscheln perfekt gekocht, Sauce nicht sehr aromatisch, jagte die kleine Menge Erbsen um den Teller. Rübenplatte war gut. Thunfisch Poke hatte Schnüre von angeblich Seetang-Salat, Pommes waren spärlich und nicht Wasabi-Pulver. Wenn mehr Chips angefordert wurden, lautete die Antwort "nicht sicher, wird aber überprüft". Rückgabe mit 4 Chips. Es schien ziemlich eigenartig, dass der geräucherte Bluefish- und Avocado-Toast mit Bluefish auf einem Toast und Avocado auf dem anderen serviert wurde.

Wow amazing! On a busy Friday night we were able to walk in and sit right down at the bar. Great drinks and the food was even more amazing! I had rockfish stuffed with crab and it was topped with mashed potatoes and a Parmesan sauce I think. Out of this world!! Hubby had sliders that were wonderful. Pic of our food included. pretty good food but expensive for some of their dishes that weren’t super fancy. we got the cougar gold cheese dip/fondue for appetizer and that was so good! a must get. scallops were overcooked but shrimp was really good and well seasoned. the ribeye was really good and better than the seafood we got, which was surprising since the restaurant’s specialty is seafood. overall nice experience. The service and atmosphere were nice, but the food was lousy. Got the seafood alfredo and it came with shrimp, cod, and salmon. The shrimp was delicious, but the cod and salmon had an obnoxious fishy flavor. The fries had the same fish flavor. For the cost of the meals, it was very disappointing.
