This is a once or twice a year treat meal for us. It’s not cheap and the menu is somewhat limited, but they have meat and fish prep down to a science. Amazing that they have several locations, all packed nightly, amd yet I don’t know anybody who has gotten a bad meal here? The steak and Halibut that we had were cooked to perfection amd extremely flavorful. Sides were also tasty, and the Prosecco we tried was also lovely. Service was attentive amd polite; not overbearing. It was our anniversary and they brought us a small comped dessert with our coffee which was appreciated. But when I drop $150 with tip on a meal I expect things to go right; to their credit Wildfore consistently delivers. On...
I have been to Wildfire for n Lincolnshire before. Love the atmosphere! Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly and very accommodating. The only issue I had this evening is both I and my guest ordered our filet well done we don’t even like to see pink in the middle) and it came out pretty red I would call it medium rare). We did not make a fuss and just asked to have boxes to go so that we could finish cooking it at home. Other that that, the service was quick and the food had a great taste. In the future, please cook the meat according to how the customer requests it to be done. I will be back and hopefully have my steak cooked longer next time.
We attended a special Oktoberfest-themed dinner paired with Metropolitan beers. Like other events featuring a particular brewery, winery, or distillery, this was terrific. We heard from the brewery, explaining its history and each beer served that evening. The Wildfire chefs created another outstanding meal, completely different from the usual menu. The portions were again so enormous that we got to enjoy them again at home.
My friend and I were at Wildfire to celebrate a 75th birthday and I indicated that when making my reservation. What I fail to understand is why I was asked the reason for the reservation when there was no acknowledgement of our celebrating anything (not so much as a Happy Burthday). We always love wildfire but our server Karsten was exceptional and made it even more enjoyable than usual. He said he’s worked there for over 20 years and yet it’s the first time we’ve had him. We will be back again soon!
It's always great food at Wildfire in Lincolnshire and great service in the bar area where we sit.The food is pricy but always good.
