I had a very bad and affronted experience in this cafe! I felt very angry and disappointed when the waitress told me that i have to leave just because someone wanted to take my table right after I have my lunch! I have never been told I have to leave immediately when I finished the food by any restaurant and cafe in the whole world!!!! I have been here many times before to have coffee, and this is the first time I have lunch here and I have been ejected in the end !!!! I feel so bad!! The manager even told me: if you want to spend more time, go to Tim Hortons!! so ridiculous and rude!! one more thing is, the carrot in the vegetable soup is totally raw! Never ever drink soup like this!
The Willam Street Cafe is a beautiful cafe in the heart of downtown Chatham. Susan was so kind to invite in even after they had officially closed. We enjoyed a delicious latte and cup of tea. We spent time admiring the beautiful local artwork hanging on the wall and chatted with the artist and her husband who were hosting an event at the cafe. I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon this lovely place. Absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting or living in the area.
Susan and her wonderful staff are always busy putting their heart into every order. I am here many times a week for a quick bevy but also use them for catering and if my schedule allows a great lunch. Absolutely everything they can make from scratch they do and you can actually taste that they put their heart into making wholesome food and specialty beverages. Thank you so much!
All of the food was fresh and the service was friendly and welcoming. The cafe is sunny and open with lots of windows. I love the coffee cabinet. The Egg Salad Sandwich on Sunflower bread was delicious. I loved the Lemon Tart too. I'd definitely recommend a stop here for lunch or just a drink and dessert.
This is a cute little cafe with quite a bit of seating in a bright and cheerful atmosphere in an old brick building.It is not quick but a great place to meet for lunch and not be in a hurry.They did have some high chairs.The panini and sandwiches were all very goodThe salads looked amazing.
Every time I am in Chatham I must stop at William Street Cafe for a coffee of some sort. Love the healthy lunch selection they have as well as the in-house treats. Great service and friendly staff :)
It's a great place for a coffee or tea and a bite to eat with friends and chew the fat. Might be a little pricey but it's cozy. Wide variety of coffees and teas. Good food.
We love this coffee shop because you feel right at home once you enter the door. Service is great, the atmosphere is relaxing and prices are reasonable.
This is a great big space for lounging or working... Fresh pasta salads and a multitude of coffee options next to the Retro Suites complex.
