I’m excited to share my experience at this restaurant! My husband and I grew tired of the inconsistent quality at Sonny’s BBQ, so we decided to give this place a try, and we couldn't be happier. We're actually dining here right now, but I just had to take a moment to write this because it’s that exceptional! The staff is incredibly attentive and friendly. I ordered the turkey platter, and my husband got the burger. We could see the kitchen staff preparing the food fresh, rather than just reheating it like they do at Sonny’s. The food is absolutely outstanding, and we've definitely found our new favorite BBQ spot!
I went around 5pm on a friday, the place was close to empty and togo was quick. I bought the 1/3# rib dinner with 1 side for $15. It came with corn bread and my side of potato salad. The meat wasn't fall off the bone but was done properly. The cornbread was moist and potato salad tasted like a corporate recipe maybe even prepared off site and was better than average. The cashier didn't know if the side was made in house or if it was good which was a little weird. Very corporate owned vibe but the pit master and kitchen did well.
Treat yourself and check this place out! It's tough to find a great fast-casual restaurant in our area, but this one stands out. Forget about that other spot, "Sorry's" (Sonny's) - this place is far superior. The brisket is incredibly tender, the sides are tasty, and there's a wonderful selection to choose from! Plus, the staff is fantastic and the restaurant is spotless. If you happen to be there and Brandy takes your order, make sure to tell her Kay sent you!
This location on ulmerton has a drive-thru service which is so super convenient without taking away from their exceptional service. The young lady at the drive-thru window was all smiles and even went the extra mile to ask if I wanted any sauce with my order. Their pulled pork sandwich was phenomenal jam-packed with juicy delicious flavor. The bread was super soft and there was so much meat in this sandwich. It was so satisfying.

I absolutely love this location! The BBQ brisket is consistently tender and delicious. Today, I had a small issue with my order (they forgot to mix it lean and wet), but Brandy and Ernest quickly remade my sandwich exactly as I like it, and it turned out perfectly tender and tasty! They always check on you after you place your order, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this place!
I sat in the drive thru for almost 10 minutes before I called and asked if they were open. “Oh I can’t get the headset to work”. So inside I went.. the atmosphere was great. The green beans and cornbread weren’t that great but the mac cheese and pork was amazing! This place has a LOT of potential but it’s just not there yet.
I had the Barnyard burger, and Chef Chuck did an outstanding job; it was perfectly seasoned. Gabrielle at the bar was very attentive and contributed to a great overall experience. This place is a fantastic BBQ spot and is kid-friendly. The okra was delicious as well. Overall, I give the food a 5 out of 5!
I went there with a Facebook offer. Im so glad I did. I didn't even know this place existed. We live very close by. We love bbq joints. This place gives me country Texas vibes. Loved it.

This restaurant is fantastic! I stopped by on my way back to Tampa and ordered the pulled pork, along with fried corn bites and collard greens. Everything was absolutely delicious!
The platter is quite generous and comes with two substantial side portions. The grape juice lemonade is absolutely delicious!
