We have eaten at Willow Beck a number of times in the past, but this was our first post pandemic visit we 've been very cautious! After researching recent reviews, we decided to go for an afternoon meal. In summary: 1. The food was good. 2. The service was excellent. The staff were attentive without being overly intrusive and the order arrived exactly as ordered (with a couple of modifications). 3. We took advantage of the 2 courses for £12.50 3 for £15.00 good value. 4. The rump steak was a bit on the chewy side, but that 's not unusual for rump. 5. The only negative aspect was finding out that we couldn 't use the '30% off mains ' or '£10 off when you spend £30 ' vouchers. I 've just looke...
We were pleased to be greeted at the door on a very cold night were and shown to our table immediately. We were given enough time to look at the menus and make our choice which was the two steaks offer. The wine and food came in good time and both were very good. The wine was tasty and the steaks were cooked medium as we asked. the chips and accompaniments were plentiful and freshly hot. We were asked if everything was OK with our meal but were not pestered by staff.
We were looked after by 2 superb members of staff who were wonderful with our disabled 25 year old daughter. As she was celebrating her birthday that day they knocked off the price of her pudding which arrived with candles) and her mocktail. They took the time to make sure everything was good for us and couldn't have been nicer. The food was great and excellent value for money, we will be returning soon hopefully!
We received a warm happy greeting, service was attentive and always with a smile. The food was great and both steaks were cooked to perfection and very tender. Something of note, I've never been asked this anywhere, but after our main course plates were taken we were asked if we wanted some time before our pudding, that extra 5 to 10 minutes were so welcome.

We were meeting up with our children and grand daughter to celebrate my birthday. The staff were excellent and checked everything was ok (without checking too often just for the sake of it). Food was lovely, prompt service, excellent evening all round!
A very welcoming place. The staff are amazing and cannot do enough to help. The food is lovely and a very relaxed atmosphere. I visit regularly with my family and never disappointed great place to eat
Staff very friendly. Quick service. Food was lovely although my mother's pie was very hard. Cocktails were nice but do feel they could be better for the price
we had only our tee here and I would recommend it 100% friendly staff the meals we were brilliant and never long waited for our food will come back soon!.

Staff were great. Food was gorgeous especially the minted lamb and they had a wide drinks selection. 5 stars.
