Today, I returned hoping for another caramel apple, but there were none available on the shelf. I asked the same two employees if they had any plain caramel apples. The blonde was busy making a coffee drink that required her attention to steamed milk, while the dark-haired employee went to check in the back. When she returned, I was informed that there were no plain apples.
Feeling disappointed, I considered settling for a poorly made pecan apple, which had hardly any caramel on it—most of the caramel was pooled at the bottom with the pecans. I visited Winans in Dayton on Monday during a lovely day spent exploring the city. I stumbled upon this charming café and was truly impressed by the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and the wide selection of options available. I had the best spiced chai latte I've ever tasted. If I lived in Dayton, I would definitely be a regular here. I intend to make this café a must-visit whenever I'm in the area.
The coffee was good, but nothing special. Not impressed with the customer service. I asked for a straw, I was told I’m not getting one because they didn’t have enough and my cold coffee had a “sippy” lid. My total was almost $20 bucks. Give me the straw…
Amazing establishment. Customer service is TOP NOTCH! Highly recommend this place for everyone! The coffee is AMAZING. Not to mention the treats and candy is TO DIE for. Management knows what they are doing at this establishment!

I only get the coffee and chocolates.But the quality level of the coffee is WAY above Starbucks. Not even a contest.And I love Esther Price, but Winans chocolates are fresher and do not taste as mass-produced.Food: 5/5
Good/ decent better than Charbucks, but their prices are very inconsistent. $5.75 just a few weeks ago for a medium with oatmilk and 3 flavors, but today $6.00 for a small with oatmilk and 2 flavors.
I enjoy the variety of products available for sale. The coffee is good, and I appreciate the private room. There's plenty of free parking, and a drive-thru option is available. Food rating: 4/5.
Took my 9 n 13 yr old Grandsons for a trip to a Chocolatier. The ladies were very sweet and patient, thanks you for a wonderful treat, we will be back!Food: 5/5

Great tasting coffee!!! Better then Five Bucks coffee aka Starbucks. I highly recommend Winans.
