I wanted to share a quick tip with everyone - today is National Hot Dog Day and at Windmill, hot dogs are 50% off! However, I found out the hard way that ordering online through Door Dash's website makes you ineligible for the discount. Make sure to call in your order directly to the restaurant to take advantage of the deal. I ordered lunch for my colleagues and myself, but was disappointed to discover that our online order did not qualify for the discount. Lesson learned - always double check the terms and conditions before assuming anything.
This hot dog place is small which is okay but the service was terrible and the hot dogs are very salty and greasy I read a review that’s very similar to mine now and I have to agree this must be the worst experience of an expensive dog I ever had in my life as well any one want a real dog being your butts to Rutts Hut or Hot Grill in Clifton, Nj that’s where you will experience the taste of a dog and won’t make you sick like this one just did to me the wise woman inside customer service stinks also good luck everyone !!
The food at this restaurant was excellent, but unfortunately, the man working behind the counter became defensive and angry when I placed an online order. He seemed to be upset because there was uncertainty about when I would arrive to pick up my food. I had originally planned to eat inside, but the man's behavior made me feel very uncomfortable, so I decided to eat in my car instead. It would be beneficial for the restaurant to address this issue and improve their system to avoid similar situations in the future.
We always love coming here when our family is in the area the burgers are the best! But today 12/26/2023 we went and the sautéed onions they changed to very spicy and we couldn't even enjoy the wild west burger. Couldn't even taste the bacon or BBQ sauce. There should be an option for spicy or reg sautéed onions. My mouth still burns after 15 minutes. I have health issues and I have GERD my stomach is not doing to good.

The Windmill in Long Branch is a must-visit spot for those familiar with Monmouth County. This location has the best atmosphere and staff, whether it's winter or summer. The fries are crispy and delicious, the hot dogs are top-notch, and the burgers are good as well. Overall, Windmill is a great choice for a casual meal.
Guy working counter very rude doesn’t care about getting fired also be careful they clean up early on grill so if your get a burger 1/2 Hour before closing you will taste it (LB Kids World Pizza Plus)
Hotdogs are good, French fries really not and hamburgers neither. Honestly the employees were zero nice and I’m usually not judging tired unhappy employees, but these one were in the worst attitude
Was close to closing time and hot dogs were tough and burnt. Left over cold fries and onion rings. Dont ever go when it's closing in an hour!Very disappointed!
