We had a great night at the Windsor Castle and will return next month as we really enjoyed the food. There were five of us and everyone was served large, delicious meals. The dining room is the farthest room in the pub, so you enter via the main bar and just keep walking further and further into the building. We had a great ROUND table which enabled everyone to contribute to the conversation. The surrounds are a bit eclectic but we come to catch up with friends and enjoy good food. We haven't been here in the summer to enjoy the beer garden but if the standard of food remains high... roll on summer!
2/5/15 I've been a visitor of Windsor castle on occasion as a local for years however the last time was tonight. We purchased drinks at the bar and afterwards were told immediately to go inside to drink them as the outside area was closed (could've told us beforehand) then when we went inside were asked to leave, which we refused not even started out drinks to have the bouncer stand in our face at our table intimidating us! Despicable service, never again!!! We actually went there to suds out the venue for a wedding reception but not a chance with that service!
Great food and atmosphere , friendly bar staff, had the veg pan fried dumplings with beetroot relish and chilli. Fantastic! Highly recommend for the awsome beer garden in summer and the nice fire places inside for winter and everything else in between.
Had a great night out with friends at the pub quiz. It helped that we won. Service was quick and efficient. We all had a parma. Was great, and massive! Each could easily have fed two of us. Will definitely be back. Reserviere jetzt einen Tisch
Enjoyed the early evening sun here with friends and a dog in the garden. Then had a pub meal from the restaurant inside. Nice place, good food and drink but it's a bit of a battle to secure a table outside!
Came here for Sunday evening food with my parents and it was great! The atmosphere and staff were fab and the food was delicious, much better than expected. The veg burrito is amazing!
