This place is tucked away down James Street off Chapel but is worth the little trip off the main street. The service is friendly and the prices are reasonable. I ordered a #2 Deli Sandwich (Chicken, Bacon, Avocado, Cheese and it was delicious and generous in size. You get to choose what bread you want for your sandwich (which I always appreciate! and I chose to have my sandwich on Multigrain Bread.My sandwich cost $10 (which I think is a normal price for a fresh made sandwich , and my long black cost $3.50 (which is also a reasonable price for a coffee in Melbourne, IMO . Hidden in the quiet little streets of Windsor, this little cafe pumps out some of the most insane (insanely good, that is) cookies. My cookie of choice was the often pictured Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip cookie, and it was a damn good choice. The cookie was surprisingly soft and very buttery and short. I suspect a devilish amount of peanut butter went into this bad boy, because the flavour was very pronounced. The chocolate chunks were large and for once I wished there was less of it because it made the cookie very sweet. Nevertheless it was definitely one of the best cookies I have ever had.

The Windsor Deli is hands down my favourite cafe in Melbourne. While the place is quite small and hidden away from the hustling and bustling streets of Windsor and Prahran, the atmosphere at the Deli is unmatched. The service staff are extremely friendly and the food is cooked fast but with care. The coffee is velvety smooth and is the perfect drop each morning. Highly recommend the Deli to any body from near and afar.

Great neighbourhood place that's pitched about right. It's a great little luxury to enjoy but it's low key, well priced and homey so you don't feel like you're being too extravagant contra other places which are great to go to every now and then, but are that bit more expensive and pretentious so you want to go there sparingly. After a short walk from Chapel Street, I stumbled upon the Windsor Deli, a hidden gem in the local area. Situated on the corner of Hornby and James Street, this small establishment exudes a nostalgic charm that instantly brightened my day.

Cute cafe in my local area. Coffee and food is always good as well as service. Lots of gluten free options but would love some more vegan too. Also wished they used leaf chai rather than powdered. Other than that, keep it up
