Windsor Seoul Good for Your Soul! Delicious! Affordable! Great Atmosphere!. I lived in Toronto for 5 years prior to coming back home to Windsor. I was craving Korean food and decided to have a small birthday celebration with my family at Windsor Seoul. It was AMAZING! I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never been to the restaurant prior to making reservations. The staff was incredibly kind and hospitable. The menu has a great selection of Korean food and Korean/Japanese fusion dishes. We started our meal with a selection of their hot teas which were divine. Instant love in a cup! My dining partner is so picky that the list of places in Windsor I cannot take him back to is longer than the list of places he will return to. That being said, Windsor Seoul makes the cut. This little Korean diner in the university district is clean, bright, and friendly. The manager almost always checks on us to ensure we are having a good dining experience. On a recent hot evening, I ordered N.2., Cold buckwheat noodles with cucumber and radish. The combination of flavours was sublime! Service a little slow, but food more than makes up for it!. I lived in Korea for 6+ years and I can say that the food is AS good as there. Prices were reasonable though felt pricey for us since Korean prices are less than half of what they are here. The kimchi-jiggae is spicy, piping hot, and the ban-chan (side dishes) are great, fresh, plentiful and re-filled for free when asked. The Korean BBQ is a little pricey, so we didn't indulge. My friend had the jae-yuk bok-eum (spicy pork and rice) and said it was on par with Korea. The galbi (short ribs) had more bone than meat so a bit of a disappointment. The service was rather slow, but the food was excellent.
I have been dining at this restaurant for approximately 4 years now, and I have never been let down by the food or service. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and the dishes are always served hot and fresh. I particularly enjoy their variety of tea selections. We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The waiter provided excellent service and the food was amazing. It's a charming, family-owned establishment. My partner and I tried the all-you-can-eat BBQ for $21.99 and we will definitely be returning to sample more items from the menu.
The Bulgogi is good– tender and flavourful– but it’s a lotof meat for my preference. Not counting the side dishes (mmmm. . . kimchi, I could eat you as a meal! , my favourite thing is the Dolsot Bibimbap which is a big ol’ mess of rice, veggie, and egg deliciousness.
This is a great place. I lived in Korea for a year and this food is some of the best in Windsor without hopping on a plane. The service was only ok but in Korea there aren't waiters like North America. You are served when you call someone over so don't be shy!

There are not many Korean restaurants in Windsor, so when I found this one I was excited. I tried the Jjam Bbong, dumplings, and Korean side dishes. The seafood in the Jjam Bbong was excellent!
