This is your easy neighborhood Chinese restaurant that really knows how to make good comfort Chinese food. If someone in your party is gluten free and you mention that in the order you are placing online, the owner or staff call you to make sure they understand what you're ordering and whether it can be made. We got 2 different entrees here for take out. When you enter the place there is a lot of damage on the ceilings and walls from water. No big deal I thought since the dining area seemed okay.However when we got our food home, the sauce the came with them were literally INEDIBLE! It tasted like 1 was about 25% vinegar and the other was like 50% vinegar.I do not understand how this place can have such high ratings. Its not like it was just 1 bad entree. Both entrees of 2 totally different things had issue of being saturated with vinegar. It was sooo bad we literally had to throw it out after a few bites and eat something else.
My family and I celebrated my birthday with Chinese food, and we were a party of nine. I had stopped visiting Wing Wah for a while because the food had declined, but I decided to give it another chance, and I’m glad I did. We were not disappointed! The food and service were excellent. I ordered the sesame chicken, which was fresh and flavorful without being heavy. Everyone enjoyed their meals.
The hostess was welcoming and pleasant.. comfortable seating. Food was wonderfully seasoned. Green tea served complimentary. I got the shrimp egg foo yung, my niece the shaken beef and broccoli, from the dinner menu which included an egg roll and soup of your choice, she got wonton, I ordered chicken and rice. I'm always delighted with this family-owned and operated gem in Pikesville. The food consistently tastes great, and the service is always welcoming. Although it's an older establishment, that adds to its charm.
The price of the food was excessively high for the quality of the meal. Paying $31 for two specials seemed unreasonable, especially since the menu lists each one at $11. That totals to $22, not $31.
The food is so good and delicious, but I can’t dine in . They need to change their carpet. It’s awful , the back entrance is not clean. The restaurant needs an upgrade.
I ordered two sushi rolls (Fancy and Dynamite), and they wereboth delicious. The shrimp from the Young menu was great, and the General Tso's chicken was also very good.

The egg foo young, shrimp fried rice and shrimp egg rolls were definitely a treat. I don’t come here often, but when I want Chinese food, I come here.
Hostess is always polite the wonton soup is bland and the egg rolls are and have been old full of oil.
