One of the best restaurants on Metropolitan Avenue! It’s a cozy spot, so it might not be the best choice for large groups, but there is seating available with a nice view of the avenue. Unlike many other places, they have long opening hours, which is a big plus. There are a couple of drawbacks: they don’t have a restroom, and they only accept cash. However, the service is efficient and polite, and the food is great—especially considering the generous portions and affordable prices. While the decor may not be fancy, the restaurant is well-maintained and has an A rating for cleanliness. Overall, this is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in the neighborhood.
I understand it's a lunch special, but this was disappointing. There was only one wonton in the soup, which felt like a joke. They might as well have given an egg roll because it wasn’t worth it. The regular dishes were excellent—definitely five stars for those—but I won’t be returning to this restaurant. The boneless ribs were fresh, but the portion size for the lunch special was laughably small. You get more food at Panda Express. Next time, I’ll just order Uber Eats from Kew Gardens on Metro because this place isn’t worth it.
This local Chinese restaurant offers delicious food and has always gotten our orders right. The prices are reasonable. Their hot and sour soup is fantastic, although the wonton soup could use more wontons. I also wish the sweet and sour chicken came with vegetables and chunks of pineapple. The service is fairly quick, and everything is made fresh. My family and I enjoy ordering from them regularly, and we haven't encountered any major issues.
The place is clean, and I'm not looking for fine dining. I just want some Chinese food for lunch, and this restaurant satisfies that craving. The dishes are decent—I've had both better and worse elsewhere. I do wish they would use more scallions, though. Overall, it's perfectly fine for my lunch needs.

I really appreciate that they are willing to create something off the menu for me. Their curry vegetables with tofu is simply delightful. I always request it to be not too spicy, and they get the seasoning just right.

The Shanghai dumplings have a fantastic soup broth and are packed with flavor! You can't go wrong with any of the soup dumplings here.
