I visited Wings Restaurant for the first time a while back, before the pandemic, when a friend treated me to lunch or dinner. I recall trying the Szechuan Spicy Chicken and a Chicken Curry Soup that was pretty decent at the time. The Chicken Chow Mein, or maybe it was the Chicken Lo Mein, was also enjoyable. However, my go-to spot for Asian cuisine when I first moved to Columbus was Haiku Poetic Food and Art. The food at Haiku was outstanding; they were located in the Short North, but unfortunately, they closed permanently as the owners decided to retire after many years in the restaurant industry. At Haiku, I frequently ordered large dinner platters, savoring leftovers of their glazed mango...
I was invited to go by some people who use to eat here decades ago. They need to realize them glory days are long gone. I should of checked out when I saw the yellow health department tag on the door. Meaning you need to do better at something you didn't do. That being said, I made it up in my mind not to eat any meat. Just give me vegetable fried rice......? vegetable fried rice it was not. It was steamed rice with some muddy black gravy a bag of veggie mix. No scrambled egg. I'll happily eat here after they run a bulldozer over it. Waitress was cool though
Look, we're talking about my family's Chinese Restaurant here. Been dining and getting Carryout for 59 years here. Its such a treasure. I just had our 40th Bexley HS Reunion in their nice lower level party space.. The Food is Delicious! I always always always get the same thing cause it's Amazing.. Here goes..Get the Ribs appetizer, order the shrimp fried rice, don't forget the Shrimp Egg Foo Young!! Then I order this simple Chicken Chow Mein. You will thank me..it's delicious!!
I absolutely love their House Lo Mein! The staff is very friendly as well. I grew up enjoying food from Rice Bowl and Jong Mea and was concerned I wouldn't find another place after Rice Bowl closed. Now, Wings has become my new go-to spot, and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal.

Always a fabulous meal.Update 1/2024-our last review was 2 years ago. dined here for lunch and the food has gone downhill. We had Gen tso and house pad Thai along with egg rolls. Everything very subpar. Based on todays visit we will not return or recommend.
I really, really wanted to like this place. We have dined in and we recently ordered and picked up our meal. Everything was so bland and tasteless. We will try it again and hopefully it will be better!
Worst Chinese food I ever had they cooked the sesame chicken and general chicken in some type of Burnt soy sauce I never had anything worse than that
Attended for a private event.Food only tepid.... Flavor use to be so much better in years past.Love the atmosphere!Staff pleasant and attentive.
