Found this place by accident as the Sat-Nav suggested that this is the town center, it certainly isn't and there is not much choice around. Obviously, the tourists go somewhere else. We went there on a Sunday, with 8 people and no reservation, absolutely no issues for them, they moved tables and chairs so we could sit all together. Some of us could not understand the French menu, but the staff was very helpful and after some fun we've got our food orders sorted. They do real Alsacian cuisine, and it appears that all of it has been freshly cooked. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, so definitely worth a visit. Our favorite restaurant in Haguenau. You can eat there for almost any occasion and with almost anyone since there will always be something on the menu to satisfy someone's cravings. Service is nice, there is nothing special to say about that. The highlight of the restaurant is really the food they serve. Seasonal dishes are added to the menu every once in a while which keeps it interesting.
A good experience, however, the rates remain a bit above average intake at the other restaurant nearby. But if I put only 4 stars it is because of a 40 minute waiting just for a chocolate melt however it was good
