I want to start by saying that we used to love going to the Hexenhut, visiting at least once a week to see what food truck they had outside. We enjoyed the atmosphere, and the kids always had a blast with the popcorn. Today, we decided to try the food from their kitchen for the first time. This review is solely based on our recent experience. We ordered the Nashville hot chicken sandwich, two orders of chicken and waffles, and the corn chowder. My son wanted the chicken sandwich with the sauce on the side in case it was too spicy for him. Unfortunately, the chicken on the sandwich was overcooked and dry, making it difficult to eat. Nice Saturday dinner at Witch's Hat. Beer, food, and service were very good. I'm a light beer drinker, so I had the Kolsch, Coffee Kolsch, and Lyger. I enjoyed all. For food, my husband ordered the Fish and Chips, which is a large portion and delicious. I ordered the White Fish Piccata. The flavor of this dish was very good, but the fish fillets were on the smaller side and I really didn't feel the pasta worked with the dish. Will be back to try more.
The staff at this restaurant is fantastic and the food is exceptional. The carne asada fries were delicious! I enjoyed every beer I tried, but my favorite was the 1908 smoked wheat. It was so tasty!

Great service, food and atmosphere! Had some different spins on some of their dishes and some interesting flavors of beer. I will be returning if not for the food but the awesome staff.
