*Update. We prevailed against WMC in court. WMC billed us for admitting our child for non-medical reasons against our insistence otherwise. After our attorney secured his release, the hospital (Dr. Gewitz apologized, and assured us we wouldn't be charged for the hospital admission. We were surprised when we received a bill. I'll leave the story there. Just be warned that this hospital recklessly and indifferently wreaks immeasurable harm on vulnerable customers. I hope it gets acquired by the Atlantic Health System. Avoid going to Westchester Medical Center if you have been diagnosed with Covid-19. The doctors at this hospital, whom I refer to as murderers, follow a deadly protocol when treating Covid patients. Despite the success of plasma treatment at other hospitals, they refused to administer it to my husband. This hospital prioritizes following protocols over saving lives. My husband was admitted with mild breathing difficulties and, tragically, passed away within three weeks. As of February 16, 2021, Covid patients continue to lose their lives at this facility.

Terrible experience. I was given an appointment, but then they called to cancel with no explanation. When I called to confirm a new appointment, I was told that no appointment had been made for me.

Good hospital with great doctors and nurses, but terrible meals and discharge procedures. Took almost 4 hours just to be discharged and I almost threw up after eating the meals.
