I really enjoy coming to Work Bar for Dry Hot Pot. This was my second time, and the flavor of my extra spicy dry hot pot was even better than the first. What I enjoy is the ability to choose what you're placing in your hot pot. The raw ingredients area is very well organized, clean and cold. It's clearly defined what new items I'd like to try. The flavor of dry pot was very good too. For me, the spiciest level they have isn't that spicy, but it's very flavorful. Even the shrimp, shells on, got the sauce and seasoning penetrated. I love coming to Work Bar for their dry hot pot. This was my second visit, and the taste of my extra spicy dry hot pot was even better than the first. The spiciest level they offer is just right for me - flavorful but not overpowering. Even the shrimp and shells were flavorful from soaking up the spices. I tried their homemade Sichuan dishes, which were decent, but I don't think I'll return. They offer a choice of soup or dry hot pot where you pick the ingredients and choose the level of spiciness. I opted for the highest level, which wasn't too overpowering. The process involves selecting the ingredients, having them weighed, and then cooked for you. I personally did not enjoy the spicy sauce used at this restaurant. It was very spicy and made my mouth tingle, but it was not particularly tasty. Despite this, the overall flavor was excellent, and a milder level of spiciness was just right. I appreciate the option to customize my meal and pay by weight. I highly recommend trying the lamb, as it is of very high quality with a perfect balance of meat and fat.
Great food and unique flavor. But this last time not so good. I found a piece of pork in my noodles. I do not eat any pork as you can imagine I was furious . I also agree with the other reviewer, as I was walking in I saw the man on the milk crate smoking away, very nasty to see that in a food place. Once my leeks were full of dirt. They don't thoroughly clean there vegetables.
