I have eaten at several WIAB chains before and this is by far the worst. I eat out for most meals so it takes a lot to be disappointed but my partner and i had a bad experience at the hillarys branch 2 years ago and haven't been back until today when we were starving and felt like noodles- we were skeptical but thought we couldnt get a bad meal twice in a row ... turns out we could!My partner ordered spicy beef and black bean - it literally tasted like prawn juice (he hates seafood) i tried his and i like seafood and even i was offended by the taste.I ordered sweet soy sauce - mine was gluggy overcooked and there was no soy to be tasted it was like sweet vegetables... horrible horrible horri...
My dining companion had a late lunch here yesterday afternoon (Sunday).When we arrived at the counter there was nobody ahead of us to order.There were three staff members in attendance.Our orders ( Katsu Chicken and Nasi Goreng ) took over twenty five minutes. Two of the staff went to the rear area as our order was taken leaving the other staff member alone.As we finished placing the order another couple arrived to choose their meals.What surprised me was the order taker also cooked the meals = strange for a potentially busy day at Hillary's with visitors everywhere taking advantage of the sun and swimming at the beach.The food...it wasn't spectacular.Make up your own mind on this outlet.

Dieser Ort war überraschend, wie schlecht es war. Ich hatte nie erwartet, dass es in jedem Teil der Mahlzeit so enttäuscht ist.

Sauce war kein schöner Geschmack, Huhn war ein matschiges gefälschtes Fleisch, und der Reis war ziemlich gluggy.

Würde diesen Müll nicht jedem empfehlen. Jetzt fragte ich jeden Wok-Platz, den ich gehe, was bedeutet, was bedeutet, dass dieser Ort den ganzen Rest heruntergezogen hat. Schande.
Schöner Ort, schönes Essen und leckeres Essen ~ Ich nehme meine Familie zum ersten Mal hier und wir genießen es wirklich. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich !! BTW Mein FAV-Mehl ist thailändisch grün, das war das Beste, was ich hatte, vielleicht sollte ich eines Tages Thailand gehen? Meine Kinder lieben Ihren Teriyaki-Hühnerreis und Satay war nicht so schlimm. Insgesamt genießen wir es und lieben es! Wird wieder wieder xx sein

This is not a restaurant but one of the kiosks on the harbour. It has a few metal tables if you want to sit and eat but my advice is to get a box and go. We tried the sit down meal and had it on plates but found that as it's a bit windy on the corner the food went cold very quickly. You get plenty to eat and the meals could feed two people for a snack. Moderately priced and very tasty.
Asian cuisine chains are really spreading all across Perth, with Wok in a Box a pleasant addition.
While I didn't go a for a full meal but my Wok spl mixed rice was cheap & cheerful!
The quality of rice could have been better but at 6 $ guess that's the best!
Not much of an ambience as its more of a take away but yes, a pleasant smiling staff & quick service does wonders
Wok in a box , novel concept lacking imagination like unfortunately a lot of things in Hillarys .food is ok perhaps they need to change up the menu a bit .I've eaten from here on numerous occasions but lately it has been very patchy ........ Quality wise !Come on guys used to be a fave but off the pace now .
This is one of our favourite places to eat at Hillaries. The noodles are always freshly cooked and very tasty. My favourite is the Singapore noodles.

This restaurant makes delicious food and does it in a flash. Great taste and great service. Best for takeaway - and enjoy eating at the harbour.
