Some of the best BBQ I've had. Good portion size, not too big but enough to fill you up. We had a pulled pork sandwich, Hot hot sausage, and brisket. The brisket was moist, smoky and they trimmed the fat for you. The hot hot sausage was actually spicy, some places spicy sausage is really not that sprout theirs was really good. The pulled pork had just the right amount of BBQ sauce, it wasn't drippy but had a lot of flavor. The Mac and cheese was creamy and cooked well and the Texas toast was good too. A must go to if you?re looking for brisket. It?s such a unique experience! They chop up and make the food right in front of you as they go down the line. The food is delicious and the place has a really nice cozy ambiance. They have a bar area and a place for desserts if you?d like to take some home. It has a really cool set up and the entire wall is a menu as soon as you walk in. Definitely a wonderful place to go if you like good country eats and will be going back!
The noise level was overwhelming, but the singer had an incredible voice. It was so loud that I had to shout my order to the person taking it, and he had to shout back. The tacos were fantastic, and the mashed potatoes were exceptional. The organic ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The BBQ sauce was decent, but nothing special. Definitely skip the mac and cheese—trust me on that one. I have to give it three stars because there’s definitely room for improvement.
This is our FAVORITE BBQ Joint in Texas. We visit every week, usually Saturday evenings or Sunday Afternoon. We live in McKinney, TX but are moving to the Farmersville Area in a few months and are excited to increase our visits to this amazing place. Their Spicy Beans will get you fired up and their pulled pork or brisket will hit the spot. We can not say enough good things about this place....Keep Making BBQ Great Again Wood and Time!!!

It was extremely loud, but the guy singing had an amazing voice. It was so loud, I had to yell my order to the guy taking it, and he had to yell back. The tacos are amazing. Mashed potatoes are off the hook. The organic tastes super fresh. The BBQ sauce was okay. Nothing to special. But don't get the mac cheese. Oh, save yourself from that. I have to give it 3 stars, because it definitely needs to be improved.
Great smoked Brisket! The flavor of the meat was just delicious! It didn't need salt, pepper, or BBQ sauce... The Charro beans were very good also but, just a bit too Spicy. We'll definitely go back to try more of the menu. We stopped in for lunch after a ride through the countryside. 6/5/22. The Staff was very friendly and busy doing their jobs.
I had not tried Wood and Time since it first opened in the Lavon Shell station. It has come a long way. The brisket was moist and flavorful. Same with the pulled pork. The new establishments atmosphere is fantastic as well. I am so glad I gave it another shot. What a neat place!
This is some of the best barbecue in North Texas, especially for such a small city! Every type of meat we've tried has an incredible smoky aroma and delicious seasoning. The sides are fantastic as well. We’re so glad we discovered this gem!

Cool vibes, friendly staff, and amazing BBQ! The potato salad is my favorite side...it's as good as homemade as I've ever ordered from a restaurant. Highly recommend the jalopeño cornbread.
This was my first time visiting Wood and Time. They did not disappoint. I could not finish it. I had to save some room for the awesome banana pudding. I will be going back!
