I have visited this fish and chip shop several times in the last month. I initially enjoyed my experiences, but after my most recent visit, I will not be returning. After consuming a large portion of cod from this establishment, I experienced vomiting and stomach issues for hours. I suspect that either the fish or the potatoes were not stored at the proper temperature. I am confident it was the fish and chips that caused my illness, as the only other thing I had consumed that day was toast.
The staff at this restaurant were excellent, especially the gentleman who was extremely nice and had a great conversation about football with my grandson. It was a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The fish and chips with curry were fantastic according to my grandson, and my fishcake was delicious. Thank you, we will definitely be returning. - Kim Woodhouse
I did not order anything and would not recommend anything from this restaurant. The fishcake was burnt and dry, and the curry did not resemble traditional chip shop style and had a look and consistency similar to diarrhea. The large chips also tasted like they had been refried. I strongly suggest avoiding this place for dining.
Best fish and chips locally. We have got our fish and chips from here for the past 25 years and although it has had a number of different owners standards have never changed. Honestly the best chippy ever!! Been in Sheffield 5 years and never found a decent chippy BUT this one is brill. Had fish and chips twice now, large portions and so fresh. The kids have sausage and love them. Defined the only chippy I'll be going to.
they have a large collection of kebabs and fish and chips menu. if they are a food lover looking for a value for money, delicious kebab, this is the best place in the woodhouse. very cheap prices in the opposite very recommended!
very tasty fish pears. had waited a bit, but my fish was freshly cooked and that's always worth it. good prices. political and polite. a very good fish chip shop if they are in the opposite and want to eat.
